Who We Are

The Shimmering Shards Raid Alliance is led by The Crystal Shard Guild, but includes  members from a variety of guilds - raid or otherwise. We currently raid twice per week although on some days we may hit more than one zone.

We call the Splitpaw server home and the majority of our members are from the UK or Australia, favouring morning in Europe/ evening in Australia as our raiding hours.
9:30 AM untill 12:30 London time.

What We're About

We are a force that takes players new to raiding or vet players playing a toon to get more raid action.
we try to help with as much information on what is needed as posible for raiding
we also have a comunity chan we do try to use if players need help etc for day to day stuff
we are also about turning up to raids and having fun trying to contribute to the force as much as each player can .


Why We're Different

We won't ask you to leave your guild - you've gotten this far with your guild - why would we ask you to leave now?

We DO want applicants to come to us with a character who does NOT raid with their guild or another alliance.

We value development over results - we realise that some in the alliance are new to raiding and we offer support and advice rather than criticism for a lack of experience. We're more a democracy than a dictatorship and aim to grow together. We're firm in the belief that by knowing and growing with one another there's no goal that's unobtainable and no zone that's undefeatable.

We value the safety of our members - We do not pick individual players to blame  for any mistakes made we try to talk in general about any probles in a raid zone ,This is because we are 1 force not a star player etc.

If there is any problems between players the officers are here to talk in confidence and solve issues instead of having a force drama moment

Current Vacancies

The current vacant raid postions are:

• We are currently looking for 2 healers non shammys, 1 illy 1 bard , no more part times spots unless its a inq or fury  for every tuesday  .  Recruitment will be closed after these positions are filled. Any other applicants will remain on applicant status until we need to look at those classes.
